Yeah. This is a series where LA can show the division who's boss ... or not. Need to take charge, seriously. These Denver chimps aren't that good, but you can't let them get confidence. A little Bellinger and some good Puig is all you need to make this a good weekend.
can't believe i ever drank that shit when i taste it now after 12 years of sobriety i know one thing for sure life is too short to drink cheap beer
So we've seen CB4 homer on 95MPH, shoulder high and inside 97MPH, middle and down at the knee 89MPH slider, inside and down at the knee 90MPH slider, outter half and waist high And last night 87MPH slider, waist high and outside on the black/maybe even off the plate entirely, hard to tell Can obviously have a little more success against CB4 in certain areas, but it would seem to me that you're playing with fire damn near everywhere in the zone, on both soft and hard stuff. Seen him go down the RF line, dead center, and oppo..seen him go solo, 2-3 run, and GS..seen him go yard early, middle innings, and late..down, close games, and up big. Heh
Next trick is to go yard against one of the top starters in MLB, lack of opportunities maybe the only thing standing in the way. He did double off Cueto. Cueto's obviously got good stuff, but is hit or miss as well. But I'm looking for a monster shot against a stud..we just missed G.Cole, he goes today against AZ/Greinke The opportunity won't come for a while..maybe Lance Lynn because Wainwright has been trash, but we'll probably have to wait until the end of the month when the Cubbies invade Dodger Stadium..maybe Lester will be due up or Hendricks
I must be reading it wrong. If you took the cure ( not saying you did, but reads like it with "sobriety"), then what are you doing drinking beer, bro? Playing with fire there...
So... if you have seen the news this past week, Denver has been getting pummeled by rain and one hell of a fucking hail storm on Monday. This means that the humidity is a little heavier than usual, so the ball may not carry today as well as tomorrow(it's pretty muggy out). It is going to be 80 tomorrow, 83 Saturday and close to 80 on Sunday, so that could lead to some of the dreaded Coors effect games. Glad the Ryu is going tonight as it will be the best conditions for a pitcher like him. The Rockies are playing out of their minds right now and I would love to win this series, but splitting it would be pretty good too. Last series here until the last one of the season.
i know it all changed in 03 when i went to sri lanka people drive like maniacs there and i thought i was going to come out of my skin daily i finally broke down and had a beer in an elephant orphanage on this mountain we were driving up for a few hours i thought i was going to die maybe 19 times on that mountain that day there are pictures and i look completely spent and destroyed i have never been more sure of needing that ice cold lion lager i drank hasn't been perfect since but i don't have many days like i used to guess i matured a little, oh yeah and i left the mounds of cocaine behind forever big difference in perspective there...
My buddy bartends at The Palm in the Westin Downtown in Denver, where all the pro teams stay when they visit Coors Field. He texted me an hour ago; he says that several Dodger players were at lunch this morning, including Utley and Seager. Here's hoping Utley encouraged Corey to go for the slumpbuster ...
funny thing and you'll know it first hand diablo when my mom got sick and eventually passed i drowned my sorrows in whiskey knew it was a problem then, but didn't care cuz it helped me get through the days then when the same happened with my dad, i turned it up a notch was going through a 750ml bottle a day... for over a year i was the epitome of the functioning alcoholic only difference was i knew i had a problem finally surmised that my parents wouldn't want me doing that so i quit cold turkey put on quite a load of weight as you can imagine, but have shed a good portion of that since i'll still drink but i won't do it alone and i won't do it at home can't say for sure the exact date of my last drink but it was with diablo and his girl on a sushi run a couple years maybe if we were to all get together i'd have a drink or two but i won't ever do it again as a crutch
Tyler Anderson is a garbage pitcher, but I'm concerned he'll look like Steve Carlton out there tonight. I really hope he gets ripped by this team. I'd like to put this lefty dominance behind us. It's not OK ...
Speaking of lefties... at one point in the season we were 2-6 vs lefties. The standings now show we are 7-7 vs lefties. Is that correct? Are we really 5-1 in our last six games vs LH Starters?
