I found Bobby Knight entertaining, in the same way as Woody Hayes. They were so volatile and unpredictable, but great coaches nonetheless. They were also part of our youth. We grew up with them. Really hard to say goodbye — and not just because they were bigger than life, but their passing also makes us recognize our own mortality. RIP Mr. Knight. Thank you for the memories.
thought the lambs were going to take that one oh well good for the lions and detroit has something to cheer about besides the ncaa championship
so tony dungy says taylor swift is the reason nfl fans are disenchanted no big, right except… imagine if a white former coach said that about a black singer
Trade those three red zone FGs for TDs and it's probably a different game. That the Rams made the playoffs with the roster turnover they had and the 3-6 start was an accomplishment in itself.
Bummer of a game. That said... If I told the #boomers in 1994 that the Rams would eventually be back in LA, have a world-class stadium, play in 2 Super Bowls, win 1 Super Bowl, and be playing meaningful games every season, they'd take it. I'm not a big football fan, but I'm starting to love the core of this team. After 20 years in the hell hole that is STL and a few transition years after the return, I think the Rams are really starting to become LA's team again. I love Cupp and Puka. Future is bright.
so i met this guy and he told me about this site i don't have cable so i'm not able to see all the games but now i am going to intentionally break up the name but its spo rt su rge .com and its flawless have watched all the college and pro games w very little hiccup and i guess its been around 10 years? if you knew about it and didn't let the rest of us in on it fuck off you selfish bkitches guess the feed is slightly behind but so what unless you're posting real time w others
yeah i'm going to try it going forward before mom passed i was able to use her signal from the main house and now i inherited those bills she wanted fox news and blue bloods plus the phone and internet was nearly $300 a month fuck that tossed the 70 yr old phone number on my tmobile and eliminated cable to get it down to $72 for two houses never going back even if i can't watch games
That's how I feel too. My mom also has the bundled XFinity package despite my efforts to convince her that house phones are no longer needed and that she can stream TV. I pay for hulu, Netflix, Prime, and XM radio, and occasionally we'll rotate in an HBO or Showtime until we finish the relevant series. It adds up but at least I'm paying for what we use, not a lineup of 5 zillion channels, most of which will never be watched. Not that cable is even an option in the rural location we live, but I would've cut it long ago even if it was. Actually, the XM radio is more important to me personally because I'm on the road a lot, and even when I'm home I'm usually too busy outside to sit and watch a game. Other than getting Steinered a lot, I love that I can catch the game during a long drive. But the rest of my family watches a lot of the tube, hence the need for the streaming options. It's a system that works for us - the only thing that's really pissing me off is that these paid services are starting to also add in commercial time.
I’ve had mixed results with all those sites. But I really hate having to overpay just to watch my team play. If Spectrum had an option for Sportsnet LA only — with no other channels — for say $50/month, I’d gladly pay.
i had a pretty long conversation w a really helpful guy when i was changing up the plan he said the attrition rate of their cable sales is full speed and that's why they're full on pushing phone services and internet they offer something like a "select 15" or something but it adds $100 which of course is absurd and that of course comes with cbs, nbc, abc etc. and you can see the majority of games unless fucking peacock or apple shovel money at them something has to give if they hope to keep revenue coming in from that side of the business
