The inherent issue with the pro-life vs pro-choice debate is that one side is fighting for freedom while the other is fighting for the right to tell other people what to do. I've never understood the pro-life vs pro-choice debate, if the argument is "government shouldn't pay for abortions" that's something, while I may not agree, could see the basis of a legitimate argument. But "We want the right to do what we want with our bodies" vs "We want to tell you what you can and can't do with your body" seems to be a no brainer.

I think a parade crasher could have done well. Chicks on birth control too because they visited planned parenthood, total win, bro.

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45

    Father's right mean nothing?
BTW, women have the right to an abortion. Just not the right to have everyone think its a great idea.
Obama said the right things on abortion. It should be legal, just not encouraged.
The 'its a right' agenda encourages it.
And the founder of the movement is a eugenicist who wanted to curb minorities from breeding out the white race.

Pro-life people want to overturn Roe v Wade. The legality of abortion is always under attack, and without an outspoken pro-choice movement we could EASILY see abortion become illegal. This isn't an issue pro-choice people can relax on even if the law is currently in their favor. The 'it's a right' agenda keeps it legal.

This echoes my thoughts on the topic. Although, I don't see it as a no brainer. For people who see it 100% as murder, then I understand how that's an impossible hurdle to overcome. We tell people all the time they can't murder others. I completely support pro-choice, but I get what the other side is saying.

It means god plays no favorites.
No matter what the religious think.
And that the just are not always who they think they are.
    Only god knows.
Which makes the religious people mad.
And so god says 'tough, so says the lord'.
And they are like "so my good deeds dont help".
And god is like 'good deeds are worthless to me, but you better do em anyway as they are for your own good not mine!'
    And people go "huh".
And god is like... 'now you starting to understand.'
And the people are like "so you favor the 'bad people' too, not fair!'
And god is like 'oh so you think you are soo good , dontcha, that your shit dont stink!'
Lemme remind you of Zeke 4:12 and i quote..."And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
Zeke thought he was too good for school too.
And he was one of my main dudes.
    Says the lord.
But no worries, im harsher on the ones I love, of course.
And the people are like... what do you mean by that Lord?
Dont you remember how i do? I always clean up the temple first before I do anything.
All those people in the temple better not be a bunch of haters or else they get cleansed first.
And the people go... but then you will go after the bad guys, right!
And god is like 'sigh', some people you just cant reach.
    And jesus wept.

as a young man i used planned parenthood w girlfriends and not just for pills and health
there were a couple of abortions and i endured the heckling of pro life zealots outside the door
i support pp and abortions short of the sale of baby parts and def not in the third trimester
i found the people working there to be genuine caring people during a very difficult time in our lives
that said i really don't see any of these rights being rolled back
and it seems to me if the people marching really cared about womens rights there would be protest of muslim countries and their treatment of women
to a lot of us this was basically a soros organized protest of trump and the process of democracy which is pretty lame
glad you feel like you were accomplishing something out there

Fucking pariah but won't last too much longer, have you seen him? Million miles on those eyebags. Bad news is, his kid is more of a prick than he is and will have a bone to pick with the world. Maybe we'll all get lucky and their family plane will crash into Parliment?

I stepped in there a few times too.
It was always 'dodge a bullet' situation.
I was a young guy and figured that having a kid would be a big mistake.
Better to wait till i become a mature person.
Yeah... sometimes you get what you want but its not what you really really want.
With hindsight you realize that those friends of yours who had to struggle taking care of babies early on in their lives because of a 'mistake'... have these nice little mistakes running around adding joy to their lives.
Cuz you dont know what the future holds.
Thats why imo its best not to tempt fate.
I was too 'smart' for my own good.
I made a ton of mistakes as a young man and my only regret is that i didnt make more mistakes.
Waited to long to smoke weed, too long to learn how to forgive, and too long to want to have babies.

yeah i thought at the time i was too young and the girls were certain they didn't want the child of a madman
i didn't even have stable relationships with women until...wait i'm not sure i ever did lol
there is one in particular that i really wish didn't happen and looking back it bothers me a lot
tbh i wish i could have found a way to have all of them because even though it seems impossible we always find a way
and my daughter and step daughter aren't going to be life long friends it seems
i'm truly sad that especially my daughter isn't going to have a solid sibling to bond with
everything has its price doesn't it?

Make no mistake, it was an anti-Trump protest as much as anything. And I don't think it happens, at least not to this extent, without Trump being the person he is.

I've also used planned parenthood w my wife for birth control and checkups, fortunately I've never had to make a choice about abortion and I don't envy anyone who has had to make that choice. Sorry for anyone on here who has been in that situation.

I don't have the same outlook on abortion rights never being rolled back. It is constantly a hot button issue and a major platform for even moderate Republicans. Every year Roe v Wade stands it gets a little harder, but not impossible. If it ever did get overturned it would most likely become a state's decision, so that's the positive angle - but I don't think it will be a safe issue to ignore for a long long time.

Fighting to protect very young children from being killed when they obviously have no say about it is not "fighting for the right to tell other people what to do." Whether you agree a fetus is a very young child or not is where the debate should be.

I'm not absolute pro life...but I do understand WTF the problem is with killing those who can't protect themselves. You'd protect a 1 day year old infant from being killed with it's mother's approval no? I'm telling that mom what to do lol.

You guys want to see something funny, try this. The left over here (and myself and a lot more centerish voters, even far right activists ) have been protesting for months about the TPP agreement. It's been called a "threat to our sovereignty" amongst other things. The arguement being that it was an agreement for American corporations to gain more control abroad, especially big pharm. It was the absolute apocalypse for the far left here. Yet it passed parliament and was well on the way to becoming a reality.

Well, guess who's almost first move in the Whitehouse was to kill the TPP immediately? Donald Trump. Despite this great victory over the TPP, the usually outspoken Libs are silent. Nobody wants to thank international enemy #1 Trump for doing what they couldn't. The total irony that their greatest fear was swept aside by their greatest enemy. Hilarious.

^^^ this is a real life diagram of them trying to figure out whether or not to celebrate.

Me? I'm stoked. I fucking hated the deal.
