    It's odd to me about this guy. 35 years ago, even ten years ago ... I actually liked and admired this guy. He was affable and easy going, a team guy and an old-fashioned hit & run player. He was solid.

    Now ... He's a fuckin stooge of the corporation amd a woke twat. If he got run over by one of those old bullpen ballcap carts from my childhood I'd be fine so long as he never wore Blue ever again.

    I'd be fine if Grady Little was manager again. He was a dipshit but at least he knew how to manage a good team. He'd have won three WS with this squad in the last decade.

    Another Dave Roberts' questionable dumb move. Will somebody please explain to me why Roberts sits Max Muncy down for Game 2 against the Giants? Everyone with any Dodgers knowledge knows that Muncy "owns" the Giants. Game 1, Muncy clobbers the Giants. Game 2, without Muncy, Giants clobber the Dodgers. Game 3, with Muncy back in the lineup, he clobbers the Giants, again. What was Roberts thinking? I rest my case.

    After a frustrating performance at the plate in Arizona, Max Muncy hits two home runs in the Dodgers' first game in San Francisco, a place where Muncy continues to have success hitting. So what does Dave Roberts do? He sits Muncy out in Game 2, which the Dodgers only manage three hits in [in] a 5-0 loss.

    It looks as though we are going to suffer more knucklehead managerial decisions again this season.

    Here's a scary thought for Dave Roberts. He might actually have to manage his team during the regular season this year. His previous teams were so stacked with talent that the regular season was essentially on autopilot; not so much this year. In the past, he didn't start managing until the playoffs, when he often appeared as a deer in the headlights.

    Have we not written the same thing, many times, in many ways ?
    If this season winds up 82-80, it will be a "winning season"statistically, of course.
    And I firmly believe that that simple fact, though bring the repetition of just another season played through like all but one in recent history, will justify more Dave Roberts into future history.
    It's time for Dodger baseball...
    Pretty sure Vinny meant something else.

    after that (last) bad call yesterday, roberts stood there all indignant like he was about to go off
    but seconds later when the umps walked by he wouldn’t dare even look at them or say a word
    what kind of leader says/does nothing to defend his players
    tommy always had his players backs, and his players often said they’d run through a wall for him
    roberts might be a nice guy but he’s a terrible leader
    fucken fake tough passive aggressive woke token spineless piece of feck
