Yet many consider the US citizens similarly pitied.
Don't worry, that peace you mentioned will be felt too.
Peace sounds like pax pax pax of a rifle going off to peace keep.
We are the religion of worldwide peace.
Difference with Cuban citizens is that they are aware of the situation and therefore are resigned to make the best of it.
And the only true way to fight the evils of peace is by migrating away or making the best of it without becoming a part of it.
    But they are aware.
    We are in bliss.
In bliss we are always with pants down caught unawares confused and scared over how peace will attax peace by peace.

Thanks. I know I'll be in Nosara. Harbor Reef Surf Resort. I am fortunate to have a relative that owns the place.

Ok....I forgive him for his reckless driving and other off the field antics BUT not missing the cut off man and horrible base running.

In all honesty though it was a great article and it's crazy what he had to go thru to get where he is now. Hopefully other people read this and have a change of heart about him.

yeah I was already a fan of Puig and that article was well written, I agree with BZ, nice to read a writer that did his own homework. Now I have even more respect for what Puig's accomplished to date... but somehow I don't see it being a long ride... I dunno.. rockets burn quickly...

And thinking about the broader implications combining his cannon arm with a wandering gaze, him missing cut off guys and then mowing down runners across the stadium can be a very effective dissuasion to base running. You never know what he'll do but he's got a cannon if he sees you. I'll get less hurt about his missing a cut off man than I would someone with only an average arm. A slightly reckless Puig puts the fear in the other team...

Well, having grown up in rural Indiana, I'm certain he knows all about human trafficking, Cuban drug cartels and deering murders. LOL

Brett Ratner has acquired movie rights to the story of Los Angeles Dodger Yasiel Puig’s escape from Cuba. He will produce the project with Beau Flynn.
Ratner acquired the feature rights through his RatPac Entertainment to Jesse Katz’ article, published in this month’s Los Angeles Magazine.
Puig, who was the National League Rookie of the Year last season, tried to escape from his home country of Cuba several times and finally succeeded with the help of smugglers working for a Mexican drug cartel who took him to the Yucatan Peninsula. The cartel then held him captive for three weeks after his backer allegedly did not pay enough money.
RatPac’s James Packer and John Cheng will exec produce.

Aside from the fact that he is not the reigning NL ROTY, pretty awesome.

Will be pretty sweet once the movie gets into Puig joining the Dodgers because we were there on a nightly basis.
