and imagine if the yankees lose tonight fox, bspn, tbs et al forced to smile while taking it up the ass
And there's a good chance the Yankees will lose because that's how baseball is. Anyone who thinks the Yankees have anything more than a 55-60% chance of winning knows nothing about baseball
Translation: "Can you believe the Cubs have to go home, because we wish we could cover them all offseason." They don't care about the Rockies, and rightfully so. The Cubs tanked down the stretch, the media is still grieving.
Yeah, it’s hostile to Yankee players but doesn’t seem very threatening to the road team. Shit, Oakland looks like a tougher environment to play at
I picked the Yankees because they have a lot of firepower, but I probably should have gone with IDGAF.
I've gotta get my tv service fixed, man...everyone (I guess) saw a different game than I did...the one I saw had a pretty damn good starting pitching battle. I hate Lester mucho, but he pitched well, the scumbag. But Freeland was poor? Really? Not what I saw. In fact, if our newly crowned ace Walker (or any other starter, in additional fact) were to pitch the same exact game Freeland did, I would he proud of them. Gotta call that fucking repair guy right away...wonder why I saw what I did ?
It’s awesome inside not gonna lie. But maybe what they meant was the A’s can’t handle running through the bag at 1st and a few steps later slamming into the right field wall
What's so AWEsome about it? Genuine question. I've heard nothing but bad reviews from Yankee fans and unbiased stadium critics alike.
It’s just well done. I’ll preface this by saying I can’t stand the Yankees, hate them more than the Giants and D’Backs combined, but everything is done correctly in New York. They paid attention to every detail and it shows. The stonework, there aren’t ugly exposed pipes everywhere, it’s just class. I’ve been to 23 parks now and it’s not top 3 for me but it’s top 5-6. Dodgers Stadium is prettier but in worse shape. I’m biased though so I prefer LA. I always said when I was going to school in Ohio and went to a Reds or Indians or Pirates game that I thank god no one could ever get away with dumb shit like 50/50 raffles with idiots walking up and down the aisles or hot dogs running around the field in between innings in New York. It’s a different culture where people go to the game because they actually want to watch the game. As much as I hate their fans and team that part I like.
I know the A's have some great relievers. But there is no way in hell that Rodney is one of them. WTF is he doing in this game? Wish he was still in the NL West.
DS was pretty much only beer vendors in the aisle kept waiting for the peanut guy and he never came only saw one beach ball and they tried one wave half the fans still flip the fuck out on fly balls
That I can appreciate. One of the biggest reasons I liked Dodger Stadium when I was a little kid was because the sixties architecture (especially when the pastel colored seats and hexagon scoreboards were restored). I loved how it was built into a ravine with palm trees, wavy roofs, etc. Like you said, attention to detail. Plus the enormity of it and the ambience made it truly unique. A lot of the post Camden Yards modern-"retro" parks are mostly contrived and redundant. They've all been designed by the same company and you can tell. Hokey dimensions, split level seating, green walls, 40k capacity, and built into the urban fabric. All fine, I suppose...but nothing special about any of them.
I was going to comment the same. Puig catches that ball 30 feet in front of the wall with his eyes closed at Dodger Stadium. It was a pop up.
