stealing defeat from the jaws of victory brusdar was brutal but wtf victor enough of that guy then the double steal call in the bottom of the ninth top notch davey on pride night
Guess the steal was Mookies idea but still a decent manager gives the no steal sign there and like jhairpiece was saying why can't they bunt??? Of he never mentioned the scarecrow in his critique
A leader who doesn't lead... A manager who doesn't manage... But best friends with each player... until he throws them under the bus to avoid taking responsibility.
this is how a manager loses his team he may have already done so how could you respect a (so-called) leader who doesn't have anyone's back? fuck him
Brothers in blue, I am so very very down on the Dodgers right now... possibly my lowest point ever. This team is so unsupportable with Brainless at the helm. I don't know how much longer I can take this. Please, somebody tell me ONE thing The Scarecrow does well from a baseball perspective. Serious request - no "checks a box" or "drops to his knees" or anything like that.
Brusdar has a knack of. getting the party started though...he gets that ball rolling for the oppo team to come back. Tired of hearing about his 100 mph power arm...wtf good is it ?
the team has quit on roberts little bkitch takes all the credit when they win, but shits on his players (primarily the bullpen) when they fail this team will absolutely miss the post with roberts at the helm his act has grown tired and yes I’ve been drinking
The great Warren Buffett has been quoted as saying, "Only when the tide goes out do you learn who has been swimming naked." For years, Roberts has "managed" during a high tide - a stacked roster that amassed regular season wins and he reaped the accolades that came with those wins. Well, the tide is now out, and Roberts is caught flopping about in his birthday suit. With the tide out, we clearly can see how the Lovullos and Kaplers of the baseball world do more with less. My only hope is that the Dodgers front office finally sees it too.
oh they see it no question but just like the "sisters" they choose to remain on the side of equity and inclusion even if it cost them everything
I know there is plenty of season left, blah, blah...but considering all levels it takes to win the prize, the Dodgers time to do it is over, at least for a fair amount of time. They have allowed it to be a " the ball is in someone else's court" situation. We had many shots at it, and came away with the bare minimum. An always tainted bare minimum, too. This is barely competitive baseball now, it's so inept.
It reminds me of these fucking judges who legislate from the bench instead of administering the law, which is their job. Like doing what you must to win if you are a baseball team...not be a cultural mentor and leader for one side only. I guess this is the legacy of team Jackie, however convoluted and perverse it's morphed over time. No good deed goes unpunished. Just too bad it's doled out to the faithful fans.
