The O'Malleys want the Chinchilla. Let them have him. He'll get all the attention he needs there. He'll probably tear a hammy running in the huge outfield.
Well, half ass running like he does now.

what a fucking steal of a deal this is going to be. Friedman bent the Marlins over backwards from what it looks like. It could turn into a 3 team deal, but we'll see what happens there.

Heaney is either going to be a very good pitcher in the future, who can be a decent #5 next year or be flipped again as a huge trade chip. What a fucking great day.

I'll miss Dee and I wish him well.

Too early to say this was a steal.

    Time will tell

We're going to talk about a lot of deals before they are official. You should be ready to copy/paste your "Deal IS NOT done" post, or you could just stay out of these threads and check Dodgers.com for updates.

    Maury is like 95!

He kept calling him Jimmy Wynne most of the 2nd half of the season.

Just read this news on Dee Gordon vs the Dodgers on ESPN

"The difference comes in when shifting attention to raw hitting, where the Marlins lead the majors with 111 hits and a .346 average from the top of the order. The Dodgers, contrarily, have an MLB-low 62 hits from the leadoff spot and a .218 average, bringing to doubt whether they'll be able to continue their comparatively high OBP in that slot without some more balls dropping in. The hitting has trended the other way over 20 games with their table-setters batting .183.

Gordon had 62 hits in 34 games through May 16, four of which came in 13 at-bats when the clubs met for three games in Los Angeles from May 11-13. The Dodgers took two of three and now visit their former second baseman in Miami for the first time having won seven of 11 there."

Dee currently has 107 hits and his average has dropped from .357 to .351.

I know we got Rollins and Hendricks but letting Dee go isn't making the brain trust look good so far. We told him to beef up and become a better hitter and when he did we let him go. Ouch. OK maybe his "D" wasn't great, or even as good as Kendricks but he wasn't as bad as Hanley.

Whatever it's done now but it's nice to see him do well for himself
