This loss is on MGT. This trade should have been made on the 31st to give the team to process on their day off on Sept 1.
2 out of 3 is always a win in my book. And a hit with two outs in the 9th to break up a no hitter is a win in itself cuz I'm sure we all didn't expect a sweep. Turn the page.....fuck the Cubs!
Sometimes you win when you lose. 133 pitches! Career high and it's probably not close. NO choice but to let him go for it obviously but it makes losing this game sting a little less. We'll see if this effects Moore going forward.
Was on this a little more than a month ago. MLBTV is picking it up as well, seems like they're giving Corey a lot of love every time I watch, he's earned it. 2nd best WAR in the NL and most important position in the field everyday. Corey should get MVP, IMO, but voters will look at Bryant's HR and RBI total + the Cubs' win total and go that way more than likely. Which is fine ultimately because Corey is still so young. Regardless, a hell of a rookie year to the point where if he eventually fills out like so many feel he will and moves to 3B, Corey could wind up being a 45-50HR 3rd basemen in a few years when Lux is maybe in position to take over SS. Can really start to project at this point..perhaps he morphs into a left handed Miggy, but better defensively. Only problem is, what are we gonna do with Corey since he's probably gonna be in the devastating HR Derby every year?
Did you see after Corey's bloop they went to the crowd and the little dude with the moustache gave a double middle finger up? Haha
1st game I've been to in a year and they almost no hit due do a bout of depression from a trade. lol Fucking waste of a couple hundred dollars. Maybe those bobbleheads I got will be worth something when Cory gets to the HoF.
overpaid prima donnas one and all Oh except for the rookie who didn't know any better (note to self: insist on at least one stud rookie making the team EVERY year)
