    Eh, it might be, but the Padres gotta start seriously beating the Dodgers for this to register as anything.

    Padres have a good team that is young but: are they gonna be able to keep pitchers healthy for full seasons? Their offense is being led by guys that could very easily not repeat these seasons. Are there owners gonna sustain a payroll that keeps success? Who knows! Couple that with the Giants (our real rival) getting better and idk

    Their young core is scary, I’ve just followed this Pads team too long and we’ve pounded them too long that ima consider other teams way more of a rival than them unless they sustain another year or two of progression

    You’re not wrong. Those teams are going to be scary. What Doyer said though...they need to do some consistent damage against us over the course of a few years before I consider them a legit rival. We’ve owned them too long.

    Padres manager does some real dumb shit. Incredible that he’s yet to use Rosenthal, barely used Pomeranz, and just lots of white flag symbols by him
