Stating the obvious and I don’t like to root for teams in games like this but, the Brewers winning would be beneficial

The company I work for outsources some of our customer service work to the Philippines. I'm going over to check in on the operation, do some training, etc. Going to be tough to watch games while working and on a 13 hour time difference.

However, I am doing a weekend layover in Tokyo first which I am really looking forward to.

I'm glad Taco Bell takes their customer service this seriously.

For real though, have a good time! As you know, missing these games might just be a blessing

Yeah, I mean someone has to field all those complaints about Doritos Locos Tacos destroying your intestines.

Thank you, TB. I'll still be watching when I can, but you might be right. Could save me a lot of unnecessary stress.

I find a random show to switch to when the game gets stressful.
Durring the 2017 WS I became addicted to a horrible show called Flip or Flop on HGTV

    Ken Gurnick
    @kengurnick

Apparently the Dodgers are more than considering using Kershaw out of the bullpen in the first round. If they want him available for relief in Game 5, he most likely would start Game 2.

Not sure what this is supposed to mean. Of course he would be available out of the pen in a game 5. Unless Ken means they are considering using him exclusively out of the pen, this is not news.

I think you gotta go Ryu-Buehler-Kershaw

I think Ryu and Buehler are more dependent on pitching at home. That’s it. Period.

Why it's hard to worry about early season pen struggles. Friedman just figures it out every time, like clockwork.

It's the moment of truth, now, though. Different game. Different pressure

Yeah, I don’t get that either. I was wondering if he was going to pitch out of the pen in Games 1 and 2... which I think would be news. And then start Game 3, 4, or neither depending on usage. As it is, Game 5 typically has your game 1 and 2 starters on full rest, so Ryu and Buehler could cover the final game if needed. Kershaw’s job should be to make sure Game 5 isn’t needed.

I think @THINKBLUE mentioned it but I doubt they go with Ryu game 1 since he’d be on 4 days rest and the like to give him 5 days rest. I bet they’re going Buehler game 1

if he pitches game 1, maybe they’re prepping him to be in bullpen for game 3 or 4, and pitch game 5 regular rest.
OR, if he pitches game 3, maybe used in bullpen for game 1

not a terrible idea but I oddly think we have enough in the bullpen that don’t need to fuck up Kershaw to be cute. Plus, why not do this with Hill

    1. Pro Wrestling is as real as the NBA... basketball reasons.
    2. Morrison was the first to opt out of fame.
    3. It's never too late.
    4. All food is meat. All tomato has meat, not just beefsteak. Animal meat is infused with the chemicals its endocrine system creates and some animals we eat create some toxic chemicals that run in the blood that flushes the meat.
    5. Because of the unionization in communist OC all friendships require the friends to provide an ample benefits package to each other. So they are just following the law.
    6. I AM FOOT!
    7. Hopefully the championship famine will end soon because talking shit is the same as eating shit just like how all mythologies begin with acts of cannibalism. Remember kids... you are what you eat. Humans are dirty animals. Don't eat human.
    8. The moon is made of cheese, you silly goose.
    9. Yay! We don't have to worry about some of yall eating each other out in bouts of cannibalism. Well except VRP and BM.

Does anyone know when the game times will be announced for the NLDS and ALDS?

I know the WC winners aren't set yet, but I don't see that really making a difference.
