Labeling everything “east coast bias” or whining that the MLB loves the Yankees and Red Sox, I usually find that boring, but there’s no chance in HELL that they call that Mookie play the same way if it’s the Indians and Brandon Guyer.

 

I see this as the next market for Statcast.

I want to see green/red vertical curtains around every MLB stadium at the very edge of the 'claimed' playing field (being that all are different) to see clearly if the fan intrudes the players space or the player intrudes the fans space.

You jump into the fans lap you take your chances and lose the player rights granted when dick fans reach well into the legit outfield airspace to snag flies above fielders heads

The tech for balls/strikes/exit speed/launch angle gives them nearly everything in place to illustrate a perimeter already when you consider

I wish the ALCS went longer, but it’s sweet to see Houston lose.

I have no clue how we can beat the Red Sox, but I hope we get the chance to try.

 

We can. They have elite top end talent but a lot of holes. They have maybe 2 good relievers and Kimbrel is a mess right now. Sale is sick and Price is unspectacular. They have 3 or 4 great hitters but so do we.

 

they do play both those teams all year though
not sure what their records where but you have to figure they were ready

 

Hated the matchup of the Dodger lineup vs the heat of Verlander and Cole.

 

Spent so much of this season wondering if this LAD team could even finish the reg season strong and make it to the postseason, so I don't care much about the opponent. Wouldn't give a damn if the '27 Yankees showed up, at some point you're worthy of winning a WS or you're just not. Will be happy to be in the WS regardless
